Pokémon BlastBurners Community News

Hey Everyone! Hope you didn't get pranked yesterday! I apologize about the lack of updates these past few months. I've been busy trying to manage my time between our Pokémon Online server, my business, and my Pokémon Trading Card Game Online videos. Add to that, having to take out my Alaskan Malamute dog 3 times a day, and you can see where all of my time is going.

Amy is working on finishing off the remaining few episodes of Season 2 of our Pokémon of the Week series. I know these episodes will be outdated, since they focus on 4th-generation strategies, but we only have a few more left until the season is done. After that, perhaps later on this year, we'll be able to move into a new season, featuring 5th-generation Pokémon and battle strategies.

Also, in our previous website survey, we asked our members what they would like to see more of in our community this year. Fifty percent of participants voted for more Pokémon tournaments and 43% voted for more website and forum updates. This month, we're asking the question: "Are you going to buy Kinect Star Wars for Xbox 360?" Voice your opinion and we'll check into the results at the end of the month!

Pokémon BlastBurners Community News

Due to MegaUpload having been shut down in January 2012 by the U.S. government, we have now signed up with a new File Storage website. All of our future website downloads will now be hosted by MediaFire.

I have just updated the Pokémon Online website page to remove the broken MegaUpload download links. Also, I have added download links for the 1.053 Version of both the Pokémon Online Client and Server programs (released January 4, 2012).

And last but not least, I've removed the broken MegaUpload links from the other "Downloads" pages on our website (Pokémon Battle Arena, Pokémon Battle Arena 2, Pokémon NetBattle and Pokémon NB: Supremacy). I'm not sure what to do with these pages just yet, because I don't have any backups of the files that were uploaded to our MegaUpload server.

Happy February Everyone! Valentine's Day is almost upon us, so for those of you with a special someone in your heart, make sure to let them know how much they mean to you! That warm and fuzzy feeling you experience when you're with the one you love -- there's nothing else in this world that can top that. :)

However, things are not all happy-go-lucky in the online world of the Internet. I just found out today that several weeks ago, MegaUpload was apparently shut down by the U.S. government for breaching copyright infringement laws. The founder of MegaUpload has since been arrested. Normally, I wouldn't give a care in the world... except for one small problem. All of the files in our Downloads section were hosted on MegaUpload's servers. This includes the files for Pokémon Battle Arena, Pokémon Battle Arena 2, Pokémon NetBattle, Pokémon NB: Supremacy and Pokémon Online.

So for the moment, none of the Download Links in our Downloads Section are working. I'm not even sure if I still have the files backed up on my computer, so that could be a bit of a dilemma if MegaUpload doesn't resume its service. And right now, it looks like the service is gone for good.

I can only imagine the anger that some of MegaUpload's customers are feeling at this very moment, having others download their files to rack up MegaUpload Rewards Points, only to find out that all of their earned points have been lost before they were able to redeem them. I had a few hundred points in there myself, but I was thousands away from being able to get anything, so it doesn't affect me that much.

In any case, I just wanted to let you guys know in case you tried downloading a file in our Downloads section.

Pokémon BlastBurners Community News

Happy New Year Everyone! Seeing as it's now January 1st, we're getting back into things with a brand new website banner and community survey!

Our last survey asked our members if they would be purchasing the new Wii U system that's supposedly set to debut in stores later this year. A majority 56% of those who voted said that they're still not sure whether they were going to buy one. Guess Nintendo still has some convincing to do.

This month, we're asking our members what they would like to see more of in our community. Please vote and we'll check back later to tally the results!
